Thunder in the Valley Detours:
Bus detours for thunder in the valley (due to road closings)
Routes 7, 15, 20: Locust Street closed effective immediately, will use Washington Street to Roosevelt Blvd Outbound.
Route 16 will use Washington Street to the Walnut Street viaduct.
Effective some time Wednesday: Johns Street by the Amtrak station will close. As a result, Route 16 will use the Walnut Street viaduct to Washington then return to normal route on Johns Street by the Point Stadium.
Route 7, 15, 18, 20: Effective 5:00 p.m. Thursday: Main Street between Market and Franklin will be closed. Detour will be Right on Market, Left on Lincoln, Left on Franklin.
The Thunder Parade will be on Saturday June 26: Starting line up will be at 11:00 a.m. on Broad Street at the Reliant Complex.
The Parade route will be Broad St. to Roosevelt Blvd. To Johns Street to Main Street, the parade will then disburse on Bedford, Levergood and Vine Streets.
Monday June 28: all routes will return to normal.
Downtown Trolley Fare drops to 25 cents a ride
Beginning Jan. 1, 2010, the fare for the downtown trolley (Route 18) will drop to a quarter a ride!
